In the winter of 2024 - 2025, Diamond again took part in the Belgian stallion competition, this time for 6-year-old stallions. Again a clean sheet with 4 clear rounds in 4 participations.
In 2024, Diamond jumped 5x clear during the National cycle for 5-year-old horses.
In the winter of 2023 - 2024, Diamond took part in the Belgian stallion competition for 5-year-old stallions twice, he jumped 2x a nice clear round. Partly because of this, he was approved for the BWP studbook in 2024.
In 2023, he took part in the Belgian cycle for 4-year-old horses. By jumping 5 times clear, he managed to qualify for the Belgian Championship.
In 2021, Diamond was approved as a 2-year-old stallion for the Hanoverian studbook, after which he moved to Stoeterij de Breemeersen.
Don Diarado
His sire achieved many top-level performances, with a bronze medal at the Tyron World Championship in 2018 as the highlight. Even today, the stallion jumps at the highest level as a member of the Olympic squad for Germany.
Diarado
Don Diarado's sire was already very popular in breeding as a young stallion and he confirmed this with more than 100 offspring that jump at 1.50m - 1.60m level.
Damline
Diamond's damline was described as one of the best damlines of the approved stallions that were present at the Hanoverian stallion inspection 2020.
His dam Contess Baroness is active in sports and already achieved great performances as a young mare during international tests for young horses.
The third dam Gran Geste jumped at the highest international level herself, but she also gave birth to three offspring who were active at the highest level: Quinta, Sheila and the approved stallion Qualitaet 3.
Sheila is a daughter of Gran Geste but also the mother of an approved stallion, Class de Luxe, who jumps at 1.50m level himself.
As icing on the cake, Gran Geste also has two half-brothers who performed at the highest level: Quintero and A'Khan Z
In the mother line of Diamond we find quite a few international show jumpers who guarantee the genes we look for in top-level show jumpers.
Cornet Obolensky
From the first day that Cornet Obolensky entered the breeding world, the charismatic grey has captivated athletes and breeders. The audience at the Westphalian stallion inspection in 2001 watched with bated breath as the product of the golden combination Clinton x Heartbreaker played with the obstacles. In the 30-day test, the phenomenal athlete scored a 9.24 for the jumping components and a 10 for the free jumping.
The fascination for the jumping power of Cornet Obolensky only increased from the moment that the stallion came under the saddle of Marco Kutscher. With dream scores, the pair qualified for the final of the Bundeschampionat. With careless ease they conquered the toughest courses in the world. From the first crop of sons of Cornet Obolensky the top stallions Cristallo I (1.60 jumping with Henrik von Eckermann), Cornado NRW (1.60 jumping with Marcus Ehning) and Conte Bellini (the great discovery of the World Cup final in Gothenburg in 2013 under the Latvian Kristaps Neretieks) were approved. The phenomenal crack Cornet d’Amour of Daniel Deusser also comes from the first crop of Cornet Obolensky. In 2013 this combination became German champion and finished fourth individually at the European Championship in Herning. Also from the first crop of Cornet Obolensky come Marco Kutscher’s current top horse Cornet’s Cristallo and Emanuele Gaudiano’s EC crack Cocoshynsky.
